Fort Sanders Sevier Nursing Home is a division of LeConte Medical Center, and is a 54 bed facility offering both intermediate and skilled nursing care. Our facility also has the capability to care for short term rehabilitation patients. This connect to purpose story is presented by the family of one of our Nursing Home patients, George Marshall Bohanan. Mr. Bohanan is the father of nine children, he was a farmer and hard worker. Bohanan raised his family in Sevier County on Birds Creek with a good work ethic, a commitment to family, and respect for the church.
After a fall in his home Mr. Bohanan was admitted to our nursing home for rehabilitation care. Upon his recovery from his fall, his children made the difficult decision that it was in their father’s best interest if he remain under the care of the staff at Fort Sanders Sevier Nursing Home.
